Florence Light Festival, the festival that will light up the city for a month.
"On December 8, Florence will turn the lights ahead of Christmas: it returns F-Light, the Festival of Lights, in an elongated edition until January 8, 2017, an event in over 15 locations with video-mapping, projections, light games, educational activities and meetings. Always on December 8 will be lit Christmas trees in town, from the traditional ones in Piazza Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio to those in the suburbs, and some will also be placed close to the yards of the tramway.
Among the events of F-Light there are video-mapping on Ponte Vecchio (daily from 17:30 to midnight) and the Endless Column installation (from Sunday to Thursday 18-22.30, Friday and Saturday 17.30-24) to the Fort Belvedere, a beam of light into the sky.
F-Light is sponsored by the City of Florence, organized by Mus.e, thank Enegan, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and with the technical sponsorship of iGuzzini. It also thanked Diamond Lighting and the partner of the festival (Sylphides, Fondazione Studio Marangoni, IED, ISIA). Media partner is Cairo Editore - La7.
On December 8 to 17 will be turned on the Christmas tree in the Palazzo Vecchio, and 18 in the Piazza Duomo. The other trees will be placed in all Districts. In the center will be in the courtyard of Santa Maria Nuova, Piazza Puccini, Dallapiccola square, Piazza del Carmine, the market square. A Field of Mars will be put in via Rocca Tedalda, Red Bridge, Piazza San Salvi and Piazza delle Cure. There will be trees in the square and in the square Bartali Acciaiuoli to Galluzzo, in the square and in via dell'Isolotto Foggini. In District 5 fir trees will be placed in the garden of Lippi, in Piazza Primo Maggio in Brozzi, Peretola in Piazza Garibaldi, along the tramway construction sites of Ponte San Donato and in the area of ​​the Statute, while in Dalmatia square and in Leopold Square will be decorated with lights the trees already present. Tiepolo drawings go on show at the Horne museum

FLORENCE, ITALY – An exhibition of 26 newly restored drawings by 18th-century Venetian artist Giambattista Tiepolo went on show at the Horne museum in Florence. www.museohorne.it

The artworks are part of a larger group of 48 drawings belonging to the museum that have been restored in a year-long operation financed by the foundations Friends of Florence and Save Venice. The exhibition runs until February 19, 2017.

فلورنسا

هي منشأ عصر النهضة واشتهرت في العالم بأسره كمهدٍ للفن والعمارة بمبانيها التاريخية العديدة ومعالمها ومتاحفها الغنية، فاشتهرت باعتبارها واحدة من أجمل وأهم مدن العالم . سميت المدينة "أثينا العصور الوسطى".
