Florence Light Festival, the festival that will light up the city for a month.
"On December 8, Florence will turn the lights ahead of Christmas: it returns F-Light, the Festival of Lights, in an elongated edition until January 8, 2017, an event in over 15 locations with video-mapping, projections, light games, educational activities and meetings. Always on December 8 will be lit Christmas trees in town, from the traditional ones in Piazza Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio to those in the suburbs, and some will also be placed close to the yards of the tramway.
Among the events of F-Light there are video-mapping on Ponte Vecchio (daily from 17:30 to midnight) and the Endless Column installation (from Sunday to Thursday 18-22.30, Friday and Saturday 17.30-24) to the Fort Belvedere, a beam of light into the sky.
F-Light is sponsored by the City of Florence, organized by Mus.e, thank Enegan, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and with the technical sponsorship of iGuzzini. On December 8 to 17 will be turned on the Christmas tree in the Palazzo Vecchio, and 18 in the Piazza Duomo. The other trees will be placed in all Districts.
